For your convenience we have put together some of the most commonly asked questions below about how our monthly giving program works. Our PAW Plan makes Pre-Authorized Withdrawals simple and easy for you, to ensure we can count on your support throughout the year.

Q & A
Q: Once Iíve set up my monthly gift online, how can I make changes to my account i.e. change amount, change my credit card number or bank account information?
A: Itís so easy! All you need to do is drop us a line - phone, mail or email. If we receive your change prior to the monthís processing deadline we can make the change effective for that month. If not, itíll take effect the next month.
Q: What if I need to stop giving. Can I stop whenever I want?
A: Of course! You have complete control. Just let us know either by phone, mail or email. Your cancellation would take place the same month, or the following month, depending upon when we received your notice.
Q: When will I receive my tax receipt?
A: All monthly donors receive an annual tax receipt in early February, for the prior yearís total contributions.
Q: When will my credit card or bank account first be charged?
A: Monthly credit card charges occur on the 1st of each month. Monthly bank withdrawals are made on the 15th of each month.

A: All monthly donors receive
AnimalSense (the magazine of the BC SPCA) twice a year. We do not send monthly donors our regular direct mail appeals. We do however send you the September appeal, as it includes the BC SPCA calendar.
